Atlanta, you kept it real.
Last night was by far the most intimate, and powerful evening of the tour.
The room became the curriculum. We went straight into values: not aspirational statements, but how you actually live. If you want to know what matters to you, look at your bank statements and your calendar.
And women shared across the full spectrum of real life:
– “I just finally got my CTO to sign… it helps us close this $1.8 million contract… it’ll unlock $25 million in revenue.”
– “I left my corporate career on purpose with no plan… within the year I started a business… it’s been four years that I have not had to go back to corporate.”
– ““I am curious to know what it’s like to not have to rob Peter to pay Paul… a negative bank account one day and having to make ten grand in two days.”
– “Good quality of life… I want to go to a Pilates class every day… get a smoothie every day… without thinking ‘I’ve got to budget this.’”
We left feeling nourished by each other, feeling more whole.
Atlanta, I want more of you.
Thank you The LOLA, Naeemah Jade, Chief, Chauncey Walker M.Ed for building a room that will have real ripples.
What a gift to be in these rooms, connecting with women across the country. The Freedom Tour continues!
