Paradise Valley, Arizona in a beautiful home surrounded by antiques and art women gathered who had never met eachother before. In fact this evening had the least obvious connective tissue, yet it produced rich connection and depth. Trust was formed.
As a result, movement was made by the end of the evening. Someone got connected to the largest Board Network in Arizona. Another connected to women who could help her scale her company. And capital allocators connected over deals.
My favorite shares of the evening:
“I had more than the down payment, and it was all my money, all that I had saved, and I felt so good about it.”
“To be at a place in my life where I can actually come into a room with other women and actually feel like I belong, and to be able to participate in this conversation is a very special thing.”
“I lived in fear and scarcity around money. And I was widowed ten years ago… I spent the first year of trying to grieve, also fighting for my financial freedom.”
These salons create the connective tissue for women to realize that we can lean on each other, not have to be each other. They are the gateway to the powerful Summit I curate where women access opportunities and see the expansive nature of whats available to them when they are owning their greatness and curiosity.
Thank you, Arizona.
